The following is a portfolio of photographs taken during a seven day visit to Istanbul, Turkey in March of 2011.
We walked the streets of Istanbul: cold, with wet snow falling, definitely not shorts weather, enjoying the sites as well as the people, while snapping images. We recorded Istanbul as graphic designers to insure a lasting memory of our time spent.
Although we photograph for our own satisfaction and to dedicate something published to our daughters, we hope that others will also enjoy some of our looks.
This is just one in a series of limited edition photography books we hope to publish, documenting our time spent in various locations around the world.

Joe Kredlow and Nannette Gonzalez are award winning graphic designers whose work is included in the prestigious annual AIGA best fifty books in the United States and have won numerous other design awards. They reside in Washington, DC and spend part of the year traveling and taking photographs. Their work includes the design of numerous publications and printed materials for various corporate, academic, and professional clients.
