For several months I was following a number of circus artists: jugglers and acrobats, attending workshops and conducting private interviews. Through these meetings I produced a range of documentary photographs and together with the writer Nita Hyrkkänen compiled a photo-book which unveils the lives of circus performers in Edinburgh, placing it in wider context of history of circus arts.
