The images in this book are mostly of signs and remnants of signs, and in a few cases just remnants of something. This sort of thing has long been an obsession for me. These are intended to be abstracts, not necessarily in the sense that one can’t tell what was photographed, but in the sense that they were not made primarily to depict what was in front of the lens, but instead to present patterns, textures and compositions for their own sake.
