Karl-Ove Vindenes (born in 1971) grew up at Vindenes, at the northern tip of the island Sotra, but moved to Bergen to study at the Norwegian School of Economics in 1994.
He later moved to Oslo, London and New York to work in finance. This book contains photos from various trips back to the homeland between 2009 and 2013, as well as a detailed map and the history of the place since the Stone Age.
