44 A wartime log for British Prisoners is the diary of Flight Sergeant Isaac David Jacobs who was held prisoner during the final year of World War Two. The book shows a transcript of his diary including many sketches of the camps, letters from the Ministry of Defense and correspondence between him and his family. Photographs and copies of cigarette packets and food labels from Red Cross parcels which he kept all depict the time he spent as a POW.
