Anderson 15 at Chalk Mountain, Texas chronicles the early history of the Anderson family at Chalk Mountain. Ruth and Zoritta wrote the Anderson Family Story and compiled writings of their brothers, sisters, and other family members to preserve the stories of growing up at Chalk Mountain. The book also contains 129 photographs.

Creating this book has been a inspiring project. I am inspired by the Anderson characteristics of faith in the Lord to provide for them through trials and difficulties, determination to never give up, and their rugged, pioneer spirit. While talking about current economic difficulties in this country and how we may be affected, Ruth commented, “Well, we’ll just plant a garden.” I love that Anderson spirit so exemplified by the stories in this book.
