This photo book attempts to show gentrification in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago. Pilsen became a predominantly Mexican neighborhood after Urban Renewal initiatives in Chicago. This photo book describes gentrification as un vaiven, which is the movement of water when making waves--it comes and goes and it constantly in flux.
