This book contains some images from an encaustic series based on images transmitted by the Hubble Telescope. My goal was to capture the glowing light and colors created by the death of stars, and the explosions occurring in the universe. Working on the project allowed me to contemplate the wonder of witnessing events which had taken place millions of years ago - past and present coming together. I hope the reader will feel some of the wonder and awe that I experienced.
