Über das Buch
“There is no one you cannot love once you know their story, and Ken and I are honored to be here to share ours. We enjoy an amazing relationship because it is a ménage a trois; we both serve the very demanding mistress: PHOTOGRAPHY. Incorporating the iconic Marilyn via images within images, previously popularized by the large oeuvre that Ken has created in more than fifty years of image-making, the flat image of commodified perfection collapses into our own dynamic representations. Inserting one’s own image into the photographic frame with her pulls all that iconic cache into the confluence of symbolism of glamour and desire and play."
