Surfaces Projection is a photographic record of art in practice. Carol Clark-Drummond depicts her paintings surfaces in the making, in detail, as a documentary which adds depth and understanding to the projected art installation presented as part of the ‘Surfaces’ exhibition. The book and projected images also serve to add a deliberate element of discrepancy when viewed in comparison to the finished artworks.
