Timothy Leistner, ED.D. is an artist, writer, and educator. Dr. Leistner has developed art educational programs for numerous organizations including The Art and Culture Center of Hollywood, City of Fort Lauderdale, and served as a consultant for the Young At Art Children’s Museum. Leistner initiated the annual “Behind Our Eyes” art exhibit, now in its eight year, which showcases the art of special needs children at UCP of Broward. He is the founding originator of the “Art Intended for All” art education program which serves special needs adults within the Broward County community. He opened the “Artist’s Eye Fine Art Gallery” in Dania Beach, Florida in 2007 where he exhibits his artwork alongside art by talented local and emerging artists, as well as well-known master artists.
