Kari R. Frey has been interested in photography since high school, when her father purchased a Minolta 35mm rangefinder camera for her as a gift. Interested primarily in nature photography, she is nonetheless open to creatively photographing other subjects, as well, such as everyday objects and people. Camera in hand, however, when the morning or evening light is perfect, she’ll sometimes set out on photographic jaunts around St. Louis or while on vacation, seeing and capturing God's creative beauty everywhere, from autumn's frosty patterns on leaves and the white blanket of a late spring snowstorm, to the delicate blooms of spring and the amazing variety of seed pods. Her driving passion is to capture and put on display the incredible beauty of God's creation, opening eyes to the God-authored natural (and sometimes man-made) beauty around us--in texture, line, pattern and color--all in an effort to draw people closer to Him--for He is the ultimate standard of beauty.
