Pat passed away May 26, 2013. She got to see her book and make edits before she died.

Pat lived most of her life in Nebraska as she raised her three children working long hard days in a rubber factory. Always sacrificing for others, Pat gave to her family and friends without grudge, her entire life. Always looking out for the underdog, Pat never hesitated to speak up for others and to speak her mind as she really found her voice by writing in her final years.
