Masters of Mentawai - a surfing odyssey; depicts an annual surf trip to the iconic surf resort of Kandui, situated in the Mentawai Islands off the coast of Sumatra. The event evolved from a surf trip to the resort by two brothers, to celebrate a 50th birthday and commemorate their many surf trips together from their boyhood days. While showcasing some stunning imagery from the Mentawai islands, the book also captures the atmosphere, action and camaraderie of a group of surfers doing what they love most....surfing!
