Über den Autor
At age 12, Cornez discovers photography with a friend who has a darkroom. Two years later, that same friend lends the equipment to Cornez who uses it for about three years before tackling his studies, first job and the army. Photography then becomes merely a holiday activity to bring memories home and keep them in albums, collecting dust. Self-taught, Cornez has been able to work with amazing professionals, getting the most out of his encounters with them. His experience with the “silver photography” world gave him the passion to remain in control, from the time the index presses the shutter release to the finished product. While he was taking care of his silver prints during his teens, he has decided to stay in control and has invested in high-quality printing equipment for his digital prints. A week-long workshop with George DeWolf, b&w master print, disciple of Ansel Adams and friend of Minor White, took his print mastering to the next level.
