Recalling a two-week photographic holiday in Nepal, based in Kathmandu, Bandipur and Pokhara, this 120 page book is lavishly illustrated with 180 photographs taken by the author together with helpful maps. Magnificent temples, sweeping vistas and ancient towns are fully covered together with historical and cultural notes; but the emphasis is on street photography - the people and the lives they lead.

The narrative takes the form of a personal account of the author's experiences and reactions; it is not a guide book.
