Eyespiration: Red-On-Red, portraits of natural redheads. The first redheadday in Breda the Netherlands was held in 2007. In 2005 there was a similar, much smaller event in an art gallery in Asten, where organisor Bart Rouwenhorst held an exhibition of his paintings of redhead women only. Red-On-Red is the project fine art photographer Melanie E. Rijkers created to offer attending redheads in 2007.

Over a 100 redheads had their portrait taken 2 September 2007. This book is to celebrate the beauty of being blessed with rare, red hair. After this project Melanie created 5 more books to celebrate ginger love.
