Über den Autor
Deborah M. Bernstein, who was adopted when she was three days old, adopted Anastasia I. Lobanova, a child who had been adopted by an American woman in 2004 and dumped into the U.S. foster care system a year later. Deborah, who holds a master's degree in communications, has worked as a newscaster, journalist, travel writer, senior public relations executive and internal communications director. Anastasia, who was born in Tomsk, Siberia, is also pursuing her interests in journalism. She has written numerous poems and is halfway through a fictional novel that parallels some of the challenges and traumas of her life.
