My primary work has been as an occupational therapist, as practitioner and college professor. And, within that field, my focus has been on improving the lives of children and families dealing with disabling conditions. Drawing and watercolor are hobbies which have carried me through my working years. My avocation has been an informal but essential part of my life. This small book contains only selected drawings from the Heartplace sketchbook, but shows the importance of a place like this in a life.
