Sydney artists Dillon and Shanahan exhibit together as Interzone. In these works they register the after-hours shadows and margins of domestic and suburban spaces as uncanny, unknowable and ambiguous. Bringing together analogue and digital photography and using highly subjective perspectives and particular individual aesthetics, the artists express loss, absence, transience, anxiety and uncertainty. The book accompanies their 2012 exhibition 'Homelands' at UTS Gallery, Sydney.
