I love San Francisco's hundreds of stairway-streets. A favorite pastime is to meander about taking photographs and appreciating the city's varied architecture and natural beauty -- including our hilltop parks. Mt. Davidson Park is a midcity hiker's delight with eucalyptus-forested trails far removed from urban traffic and noise. Though I have a collection of thousands of photos of San Francisco neighborhoods and parks on the private Shutterfly photosharing site, I like the idea of having my own bookshelf collection of some of my favorite photos as well, thus this, my first book, and future ones to come.
