I am a freelance photographer based in Los Angeles. I have traveled from Tennessee to Timbuktu looking for images that reveal that special moment and sense of place. My work has appeared in magazines, newspapers and books and on websites, brochures, calendars and postcards. I have won numerous awards for my photography, including being named Photographer of the Year by the Society of American Travel Writers in 2000 and 2009.
