After more than twenty years of fashion and portrait photography, I deeply felt the wish to reconsider those spaces and environments I had always loved to use just as a background to my pictures.

The project “HIDDEN POETRY” is in the first place the result of a will to “remove” the main subject, in order to describe the geometry, colors, accidental compositions which surround us in our urban life, and are mostly unseen. Extraordinary pictures appeared then to my eyes, finding sometimes quotations of MONDRIAN, BARNETT NEWMAN, or TAPIES, hidden in daily life.

There are no technological tricks or compositions made artificially, but just what the scenery meant to reveal to me.
