In honor of its 20th Anniversary, the Town of Yucca Valley, with assistance from The Planning Center|DC&E, prepared this high quality, graphic-rich Community Profile that examines Yucca Valley from a physical, social, environmental, and economic perspective.



Also intended to serve as a first step in updating the Town's General Plan, the Community Profile focuses on changes to economic, fiscal, and demographic trends that occurred since the Town prepared its first General Plan. The resulting book serves four main purposes:



1. Memorialize and celebrate Yucca Valley

2. Provide a snapshot of conditions and trends

3. Serve as a resource for decisions and discussions

4. Supply data to validate and update the Town’s vision



Together, the Town and The Planning Center|DC&E were able to take what is normally a very technical document and produce a coffee table quality hardcover book that can be used by Town Staff and elected officials to promote the assets of our community. Our goal was to create a book that is enjoyed not just by planners, but by all who live and work in Yucca Valley.
