Lot No: 170 JUNG - ADLER ARCHIVE An extensive archive of manuscript material, sketchbooks, watercolours and ephemera relat- ing to the work of Jungian analyists Gerhard and Hella Adler, including hundreds of oil, gouache, watercolour, chalk or pencil “dream drawings”, sketches and free studies in books, loose sheets, oilboards (4) and large stiff card scrolls (mostly proof sheets for “sym- pathy” cards, approximately 670 x 530mm.); manuscript material including samples of Hel- la’s analyis of several children and adults, a notebook in which she mentions Judaism and the integration of Jews in society, a small group of diaries, several private letters from Ger- hard to Hella, miscellaneous correspondence, all contained in two suitcases, initialled “E.H.A.” on sides, various sizes, [c.1930- 1960]
