Über das Buch
Michigan’s northern Lower and Upper Peninsulas possess the longest bridge, largest islands, vast wilderness areas and numerous state parks. Streams intertwine with lush forests and rocky cliffs; 150 waterfalls sweep across 300-plus miles of wooded wilderness in Michigan’s northernmost territory, all of which are surrounded by the three largest freshwater Great Lakes.
Northern Michigan has been my home for the past twenty-two years. Living and growing up near Lakes Superior and Huron, I have fallen in love with the many awe-inspiring wonders that Michigan’s frontier has to offer. My goal is to entice people to become captivated with these fantastic places as much as I have.
When people view my images, I hope they will immerse themselves in the beauty and history of this majestic place, becoming intrigued by my photographs, and inspired to visit these locations in person, experiencing a fondness that reflects my own.
