Comical, poignant and insightful 'Spoken Images' offers a glimpse into the lives of primary school children growing up in 2011 and going to school near the new Olympic Stadium in East London.



This diverse collection of photographs, poetry and spoken word was created by pupils in KS2 from Gainsborough Primary School in Hackney Wick.



Spoken Images was a collaboration project run by KS2 teachers working with spoken word artist Joelle Taylor and photographer Lucy Williams. The project was funded and delivered by A New Direction as part of the Creative Partnerships Programme 2011.
