Temperatures to -10, snow everywhere.
This city becomes white, silent, it seems to extend its space, while time dilates. Nothing more beautiful in our old Europe, the destruction of over half a century ago and then 40 years of division did not deter its citizens.
They say they are grouchy around here, to me they seem kind, and above all practical.

Temperature a -10, neve ovunque. Questa città diventa candida, silenziosa, gli spazi sembrano estendersi e il tempo dilatarsi.
Niente di più bello nella nostra vecchia Europa; la distruzione di ormai oltre mezzo secolo fa e 40 anni di divisione non hanno scoraggiato i suoi cittadini. Si dice che siano burberi da queste parti, a me sembrano cortesi e soprattutto concreti.
