There were only a few key phrases and words I managed to pick up on while in Hong Kong: ‘M’goi,’ for thank you and excuse me, and ‘Tsing mat kau gaun tsae mun,’ for please stand back from the doors. These are the photographs that were taken over the course of living in Hong Kong from September 2010 to March 2011.
