A personal journal that chronicles the author's experiences while taking a college course titled Prisms on Culture, at the University of Maine at Augusta. The cluster course was comprised of three academic disciplines—digital art, creative writing/ memoir, and an American Studies/ Women's Studies class titled Culture, Consciousness, and Community. This cluster course also included travel abroad and service in Nicaragua. While this journal encompasses elements of each of these classes, it primarily captures a personal journey of reflection, awakening, and reconciliation.
