Following complaints about my eyesight I was diagnosed with Fuchs' endothelial dystrophy. I found out how difficult it was to explain my blurred view of the world around me to others. That's why I started making these images using the Hipstamatic app on my iPhone, sometimes preparing the lense with transparant tape. Now I am glad that after a first corneal transplant with a second one in sight I can focus on real life again.
