Michail Parlamas was born in Piraeus in 1977. He studied painting at the School of Fine Arts in Thessaloniki, where he graduated in 2000 under the supervision of professor Evangelos Dimitreas. He continued his postgraduate studies in London with the financial support of State Scholarship Foundation. Following his Fine Art Masters degree at Central Saint Martins Michail went on to successfully complete a Doctorate degree in Fine Art at University of East London. His first major solo show took place at Kourd Gallery in Athens. In 2017 he participated in the 7th Biennale in Beijing. He has held 3 solo exhibitions so far in Athens and in London respectively and since 2002 he has been participating in group exhibitions in Greece and abroad.
