In August 2009 Clive, Itchy & I set of to drive around Africa in 18 months. A year later we were enjoying travelling at our own, relaxed pace so much that we had only just reached Cape Town. We hadn't even 'done' South Africa yet!



A few months previously the decision had already been made to split the trip in half so, having left Itchy for a well deserved rest in South Africa, we are now home for a few months and will be returning to start the second half of the journey in March 2011.
