Über den Autor
DON ALBRECHT has fresh water in his veins. He grew up surrounded by the grand inland waters of the St. Joseph River and Lake Michigan before moving to Bayfield on Lake Superior, in 1974. Currently, Don's passions include Japan, Lake Superior, teaching, and fine art photography. In addition to the books Bayfield Lake Superior and now Near the Torii Gate, he has an essay in the Burb book Love Stories from the Bay. After 30 years of teaching in higher education, Albrecht’s professional life has also included work as a newspaper editor, freelance photographer and writer, carpenter, graphic designer and communications director. An experienced fine art photographer and educator, he has exhibited throughout the United States and in Cuba and Asia.
