Steve Harris is a dynamic canoe/kayaker who specializes in providing exceptional instruction for paddlers as they progress from beginner right through to river running and tripping. Steve is a certified American Canoe Association level 3 canoe instructor. He has seven years of experience leading the Whitewater Canoe course at Stevens Point Senior High and seventeen years of teaching high school Biology and Biotechnology. He has a Bachelors Degree in Biology, Masters in Education, and certification in Brain Compatible Learning Strategies. Winner of the Golden Apples – teacher of year and nominated for National Science Teacher of the year.
