Über den Autor
Val Goldenbrook was born in southern California during the baby boom. She served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era, and then set sail for the Island of Martha’s Vineyard. During her twenty years on the Vineyard she was a police officer, an elected town official and the owner of an alternative bookstore. She is an accomplished pilot and a martial artist, as well as a published author with a degree in creative writing from Goddard College in Plainfield, Vermont. Over a decade ago she landed on a mesa top in Georgia O’Keeffe country where her photographer’s eye was born. She lives in Abiquiu and her work comprises views of the famous Pedernal Mountain, the clear, deep-blue skyscapes of Northern NM, and scenes from the Land of Enchantment. Val has traveled to Alaska to photograph Grizzly bears, to Yellowstone to capture wolves in the wild, and to the Bosque Del Apache wetlands to photograph the Festival of the Cranes, migrating from the Arctic to New Mexico.
