Photography has been my avocation since I first used a camera in 1963. While mostly self trained, I did attend photography classes at the University of Kansas where I served asa staff photographer for the university paper The Daily Kansan. I also worked as a photographer for Portrait House Studios while attending the University of Missouri at Kansas City. As an amateur entrant, I won first place honors in the black & white division of the Kansas City Annual Photography show and most recently had several photographs selected for exhibition at the Del Mar Fair and was recognized with several ribbons for those entries. I have always been keenly interested in nature photography which I emphasize while traveling and when pursuing outdoor sports. Through photography, I feel that I can share with others my love and respect for nature.
