The spirit of these children demonstrates the wealth of character, strength, beauty, and richness these little ones and teenagers have stored up. These children live in harsh and very difficult environments, yet with a little help they thrive.



"Crianças: A Riqueza da Rebusca", Portuguese for: "Children: the Wealth of Rebusca". Rebusca, a non-profit organization, cares for approximately 300 children and teenagers. It provides a safe space, meals, after-school programs and so on for children of single parents and very low income families. What the two authors saw and this book seeks to show is that the true richness of Rebusca are the children.
