We wanted to make memories. We also wanted to do as much as possible in as little time as we could; the American way. because we only had a week: Spring Break, hence the title of the book. We discovered along the way that our experience on our trip is a lot like life. We should try to fit as much as we can: "drink life to the lees" as Tennyson says. We did, and it was good.
