A Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society and an Associate of the Welsh Photographic Federation, Stephen has been photographing the landscape for over 40 years. Closely associated with the Snowdonia National Park in particular, his knowledge and understanding of the area have allowed him to produce images unrivalled in their portrayal of the ephemeral light and wild atmosphere of that special part of the world. His work is an intimate and lovingly crafted celebration of wild landscapes. Stephen has contributed to various image and video libraries, including Visit Britain, Photolibrary of Wales, the National Trust and Shutterstock, and he has hosted photographic workshops around the world. He first book, 'Private Views of Snowdonia' was published in 2005. Stephen is also an accomplished producer of time-lapse videos. Although retired from professional photography, Stephen is still active in many photographic genres, including landscapes, macro, and timelapse.
