Über den Autor
Stan Strom is a husband of 25 years, a father of three, owner of a real estate land company and amateur pastry chef. He is a graduate of Arizona State University with a BS degree in finance. As a hobby over the past 20 years, Mr. Strom has won hundreds of blue ribbons at the Arizona State Fair for his pie, cake, bread, cheesecake and cookie creations. In 2001, he and his wife, Brenda, were featured on Food Nation with Bobby Flay. He was won the state fair premium competitions for his pies and cakes sponsored by Crisco, C & H Sugar, Softasilk Cake Flour (Pillsbury), Homestyle Buffet and Marie Callender's Pie. In 2007, his Hawaiian Vanilla Custard Pie won the American Pie Championship custard category in Orlando, Florida. This is his first published cookbook and he plans to launch Blue Ribbon Desserts in 2010.
