Über das Buch
Photography can show us what something looked like. Words can help us understand why it mattered.

Finishing the Frame is a guided journal for photographers who want to engage more deeply with their images through reflection, observation, and writing. Through prompts and practical exercises, photographers are encouraged to look beyond simple description and explore the ideas, emotions, memories, and intentions that may exist beneath the surface of their work.

Rather than treating writing as an explanation of photography, this journal approaches language as a companion to imagery and a means of strengthening visual communication.

Designed for photographers at any stage, Finishing the Frame offers a space to reflect on your work, develop stronger narrative awareness, and discover what your photographs may be saying beyond the frame itself.
