This project started out as the idea of embodying a second semester senior and enjoying life. Although my life and how I enjoy things is apparent in this book, it transformed more into displaying a dark and light side of my experiences; some photos felt almost sinister and on the darker side while others felt joyous and filled with laughter. I wanted to keep both ideas inside this book, so I am talking about both since I believe that the "second semester senior" mindset is one that should be lived (with caution) by everybody to truly enjoy the things of life. I spend my life with people doing things I enjoy, and although these feelings and times that we are currently are in are temporary, the memories we gain instill themselves inside our brains and become moments we will never forget. At least that is for me, because the moments I spend with my friends, family, and dogs doing the things that I love are something I would trade for nothing. I strive to be intentional with what I do; I recognize the transient aspect of life, and I try to make it permanent by creating memories. I hope you enjoy these photos that display my life as a second semester senior.
