On the morning of 20 November 2025, Ottawa woke up to a wondrous sight. Mother Nature had graced the city with a spectacular hoar frost. Captivated by the scene, I abandoned my usual morning routine, grabbed my camera and walked through the neighbourhood to the nearby golf course. It was perfectly calm that morning and deeply silent. I photographed the beautiful sights for three hours and marvelled at the intricate patterns the frost had sculpted on every surface. Fifty photos from that morning are printed in this book.
