"Homeless Mountain and Beyond" is a compilation of three blogs written over the course of thirteen years. In 2009, when my husband and I were in our mid fifties, a cascade of medical circumstances plummeted our finances and we were thrust out into the world of being homeless...absolutely one hundred percent without anything except a Subaru station wagon and a golden retriever. The journey that followed is not one that you can imagine unless you have walked it. We lived one of the greatest universal fears of our present culture. We were taken to our knees again and again, we with high education levels, professional skills, strong spirits and looks, and though we rose up again and again it took us eight years to get out. "Homeless Mountain" and "Tigress Tales" were written during this time. "Wind Whispers' was written during recovery and healing. I have gathered these together because along the way others have communicated the lightbeam aspect of my sharing.
