Über das Buch
Her camera is almost always pointed at honey bee hives. This book features her own photographs, all taken in Florida before the first honey flow of the year, so none contain honey. The images focus instead on the daily life inside a colony: bees raising brood, building comb, tending one another, and the beekeepers who routinely check hives to make sure they’re thriving.
Honey bees are famous for honey and pollination, but there is much more to their world. These photographs show that side of hive life—the part that still draws Selena back to the bees every chance she gets.
