Über das Buch
This volume focuses on the creation of minimalist images with great color.
In photography, minimalism is about distilling a scene to its most essential elements, removing distractions, and focusing on what truly matters. Minimalist photographs can range in color from black and white to monochromatic, to subtle color palettes, to bright and bold colors with plenty of contrast. This book showcases minimalist compositions with simple shapes, patterns, and lines featuring bold colors. Color plays a simple but very impactful role in each of the images showcased in this book.
The initial chapters of the book discuss color theory, the art and techniques for creating minimalist photographs, and the application of minimalist photography to different genres, such as abstract, architecture, nature, landscape, and portrait photography.
