This project combines portraits and travel photos that I have taken between 2020 to 2024. While organizing my photography work, I came across an effortless connection between my landscapes and portraits, despite being created at different times. It reminds me that the places
I visit—in these cases; Italy, North Carolina, and New York City—leave a strong imprint on how I see the world and what I decide to capture, and even style, in my portraits. It shows what I am consistently drawn to and inspired by. Each spread highlights that subconscious and serendipitous connection through form, color, and or mood.
