In February and March of 2023 Hilliard Adopt-A-House considered various rehabilitation options with Habitat for Humanity MidOhio. In March we visited the 1461 Genessee Avenue property. We began gutting the interior of the home in April. On Saturday, March 9, 2024 we celebrated the dedication ceremony.

I retired in 2000 and devote much of my time as President, Volunteer Coordinator and Webmaster of Hilliard Adopt-A-House (an affordable home ministry) and various mission responsibilities with the United Methodist Church primarily leading Volunteers in Mission teams across the world. My most recent focus has been leading teams to Guatemala to build or improve schools in rural areas.
