Über das Buch
In his Time Travelers Along the Highway we indeed see images of poverty, overcrowded houses more like corrugated iron huts and beer-drinking people in rags in a depressing, dreary, harsh environment.
And yet, and yet, fortunately this is not the author's dominant image of the Aborigines along the Highway. Despite their loss of land, language and traditional culture, most of the striking faces radiate pride and self-esteem.

Über den Autor
All my life I have been fascinated by images. As a photographer I have been making portraits and reportage for decades. In recent years 2010-2025 I have mainly been active in Southeast Asia conducting photography workshops and running photo travel company besides personal projects. Stories from the heart in NYC, Phnom Penh and Australia In Cambodia, we have provided daily photo tours and photo safari and made daily social photography stories. This work has now resulted in an incredibly rich photo archive and I am currently publishing these photos and stories here at Blurb magazines and books. Always looking for the intimate image that touches the eye on different layers plays an important role for me. Filters and bias obscure the truth. I like real and pure. With the Blurb publishing, I found an incredibly satisfying way to print my work in a personal way and publish photos outside the digital social media jungle. Books and printed magazines are long lasting and personal.
